1. Where is World Sky Academy located?

We’re located at 919 Biscayne Blvd, Hangar D12, DeLand, FL 32724.

We offer experienced instructors, modern aircraft, and flexible scheduling( fly schedule Pro App) .

Florida offers year-round flying weather, diverse airspace for training, and a high demand for pilots,
making it one of the best places to learn to fly.

Yes, we offer discovery flights for prospective students to experience flying firsthand. Contact us to
schedule yours!

You can start training at 16 years old (17 for a Private Pilot License). There’s no upper age limit as long
as you meet FAA medical requirements.

Program Questions

6. What programs do you offer?

We offer Private Pilot License (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), and Commercial Pilot License (CPL) programs.

Our program is designed to be completed in 8-10 months, depending on your pace and availability.

You’ll train in Cessna 172 for PPL, IR, and time-building, and Piper Seneca for Multi-engine rating.

The program includes 251.5 flight hours, covering PPL, IR, time-building, and CPL.

Yes, our CPL program includes training in the Piper Seneca, a multi-engine aircraft.

Our students have a high pass rate thanks to our experienced instructors and comprehensive
ground school.

Admissions Questions

12. What are the admission requirements?

You must be at least 16 years old, hold a valid U.S. driver’s license, be proficient in English, and pass
an FAA medical exam.

Simply contact us to discuss your goals, complete our online application, obtain your FAA medical
certificate, and schedule your training.

Yes, we offer payment plans to make flight training affordable.

You can fly as often as your schedule allows. Many students fly 3-5 times per week.
